The Kingston team has earned several important certifications that better enable us to serve you through advanced training and recognized excellence in particular remodeling disciplines.
Certified Remodeler (CR) of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
Only full time professional remodeling contractors are eligible for certification by NARI. Such certification is a challenging process requiring extensive knowledge of the industry and a commitment to professional conduct. A minimum of 5 years experience in the industry is required before training can take place. Continuing education and participation in industry related programs are required for annual re-certification.
Certified Green Professional from the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB)
The NAHB’s Certified Green Professional designation recognizes builders, remodelers and other industry professionals who incorporate green building principles into homes” without driving up the cost of construction. Classwork leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.
Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer (AKBD) from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA)
NKBA Certification is the gold standard in the kitchen and bath industry. The NKBA developed its certification programs as a way for kitchen and bath professionals to enhance their design and construction knowledge and be recognized as the premier experts in their field. NKBA certification is based on in-depth testing and extensive industry experience. The primary body of knowledge for NKBA certification is the nine volume Professional Resource Library and the NKBA Kitchen & Bathroom Planning Guidelines.
