Kitchens continue to be the most popular room to remodel and that makes perfect sense since it’s the room where families spend most of their time. In fact, many people consider their kitchen to be the heart of their home.  Every year Kingston works with dozens of clients to design their dream kitchens, so we stay on top of the popular trends.

Here are the top 10 trends in kitchens for 2013.

1) Gray is becoming a top color pick. Shades of gray have become a very popular neutral color palette. It’s a great alternative option to using white or beige.
2) White painted cabinetry is still the top choice.
3) Cabinetry with a clean, simple, contemporary look.  Less ornamentation and molding on the outside, lots of storage of the inside.
